Marketing and Communications Assistant (part-time paid internship)
The Town of Benson is now hiring for interns in the marketing and communications department.
Working under the supervision of the Media Coordinator, the qualified individual will professionally represent the Town of Benson and assist with producing content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.); assist with writing press releases and town-wide newsletters; edit and produce content for the Town of Benson website (www.townofbenson.com); attend photo-ops and town sponsored events; produce video and photographs for future use on Town produced publicity materials; and pursue stories internally and externally to market the Town of Benson.
Desired qualifications: Working knowledge of a range of social media platforms; experience with photography, photo editing, and video editing; experience with graphic and web design; excellent written communication skills; and the ability to work independently.
Salary Range: $10 per hour
Hours: 10-20 per week, will include some evenings and weekends
