To better serve our utility customers and accommodate a broader range of pay schedules, the Town of Benson will begin a new billing schedule on May 1, 2026. Here's how the new schedule will work:
- Bills will be in mailboxes by the 10th of every month
- Bills will be due the 5th of the following month
- Drafts will be done on the 5th (due date)
- Late fees will be added at the end of the day or next morning (the 5th or 6th)
- Last day to pay will be the 19th of the month.
- Cut off day will be the 20th of the month
